Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency in Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, NX AutoCAD
- Strong design skills and experience in Design For Manufacturing principles
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Prior experience in the plastic extrusion industry is a plus
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop detailed design drawings and specifications for plastic extrusion machinery
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design concepts meet production requirements
- Conduct design reviews and provide recommendations for improvements
- Utilize CAD software to create 2D and 3D models of machine components
- Support the manufacturing and installation processes by resolving design-related issues
