Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled VMC Programmer to join our team at JJG Machining Group. As a VMC Programmer, you will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating Vertical Machining Centers (VMCs) to produce precision machined components for the aerospace and automotive segments. This is a full-time position based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India, and is ideal for individuals with 1 to 3 years of experience in VMC programming.

Qualifications and Skills

• 1 to 3 years of experience in VMC programming and operation.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong knowledge of CAM software and CNC programming.
• Ability to select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and materials for machining operations.
• Experience in troubleshooting and performing routine maintenance of VMCs.
• Attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy and quality in finished products.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
• Knowledge of safety guidelines and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate Vertical Machining Centers (VMCs) to produce precision machined components.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine machine setup and tooling requirements.
• Write and edit CNC programs using CAM software to optimize machining processes.
• Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and materials for each job.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of VMCs to ensure optimal performance.
• Monitor machining operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and meet production targets.
• Inspect finished products for accuracy and adherence to specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and other team members to optimize machining processes and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Maintain documentation and records of machine settings, tooling changes, and production data.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.

CANDITATES MUST HAVE THESE QUALITIES ;

1) Worked in the field of precision manufacturing or Aerospace field parts using VMC machine

2) Should be able to carry out programming 2D & 3D profiles using Solid cam/ Master Cam / CATIA ( The candidate should be familiar in any of the programming software) Should bring own laptop at the time of interview to show the programming software

3) Ability to Plan & prove the parts in VMC 4th Axis/ 3 Axis with part setting knowledge / programming skills.

4) Job Type: Full-time, should have exp of 8 to 12 years

5) Salary: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
