• Production Planning

• Develop and implement production schedules to meet business demands and customer

requirements.

• Ensure optimal utilization of plant resources, including labor, machinery, and materials.

• Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure the timely availability of raw materials.

• Operations Management

• Oversee daily production activities, ensuring adherence to production plans and targets.

• Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed to maintain workflow

efficiency.

• Implement process improvements to enhance productivity, quality, and cost-

effectiveness

• Quality Control

• Ensure that all products meet quality standards and specifications.

• Implement and maintain quality control systems and procedures.

Address and resolve any production issues related to quality defects.

• Team Leadership

• Supervise and manage production staff, including hiring, training, and performance

evaluations

• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

• Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and performance

updates

• Health and Safety

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

• Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions for staff.

• Address any safety concerns promptly and effectively.

• Maintenance Coordination

• Work with the maintenance team to ensure all machinery and equipment are in good

working condition.

• Schedule and oversee preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

• Inventory Management

• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.

• Coordinate with the inventory team to manage stock levels and reorder as necessary

• Reporting and Documentation

• Maintain accurate production records and prepare regular reports on production

performance.

• Analyse production data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.

• Document and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs).

• Cost Management

• Control production costs by optimizing resource usage and minimizing waste. Prepare

and manage the production budget.

• Job Type: Full-time

• Any candidate with 7-10 years of experience in the yarn/dyeing unit especially from

thread industry would be preferred.
