A. Purpose of role: 


Responsible for overseeing the development, launch, and management of private label channel. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of market trends, consumer behavior, and supply chain management. The Private Label Channel Manager will work closely with various departments including category managers, marketing, and procurement to ensure the success of our private label product lines. Key responsibilities include conducting market research, identifying new product opportunities, B2B routes to market, negotiating with suppliers, and managing product lifecycles. The successful candidate will have excellent project management skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.



B. Key Results/ Accountabilities expected from the role


•      Leading strategic plan for Own Label channel, including routes to market.

•      Conducting market research to identify new product opportunities.

•      Developing and implementing private label product strategies.

•      Negotiating with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.

•      Managing product lifecycles from concept to launch.

•      Collaborating with marketing, category managers, and sales teams to develop promotional strategies.

•      Monitoring and analyzing product performance to make data-driven decisions.

•      Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and quality standards.

•      Managing budgets and financial performance of private label products.

•      Coordinating with procurement to ensure timely delivery of products.

•      Developing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.

•      Oversee packaging design and branding efforts.

•      Conducting competitive analysis to stay ahead of market trends.

•      Preparing and presenting reports on product performance to senior management.

•      Identifying and mitigating risks associated with private label products.

•      Continuously seek opportunities for product improvement and innovation.
