This Job Role addresses the following activities.

The Manager of Video Analytics Operation Support is responsible for overseeing the operations and maintenance of the video analytics systems within the organization. This role involves managing a team of technical support professionals, ensuring the seamless operation of video analytics software, and delivering high-quality support to internal and external stakeholders. The Manager will also play a critical role in the continuous improvement of video analytics processes, tools, and techniques to meet the evolving needs of the organization. This position requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of video analytics technologies and their applications in various business contexts.

Job Accountabilities:

 Team Management:

• Lead and manage a team of video analytics support engineers and technicians.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities to team members.
• Ensure adequate staffing levels and resource allocation to meet operational demands.

 Operations and Maintenance:

• Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of video analytics systems and infrastructure.
• Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement corrective actions to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for system operations and support.

 Technical Support:

• Provide expert-level technical support for complex issues related to video analytics systems.
• Coordinate with other IT and technical teams to resolve cross-functional issues.
• Ensure timely resolution of incidents and service requests in line with service level agreements (SLAs).

 Process Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within video analytics operations.
• Implement best practices for video analytics system management and support.
• Conduct regular reviews and audits of system performance and support activities.

 Stakeholder Management:

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand their video analytics requirements and provide appropriate solutions.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to keep them informed about system status, issues, and enhancements.
• Manage vendor relationships and service contracts related to video analytics systems.

 Reporting and Documentation:

• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for video analytics systems, processes, and procedures.
• Generate regular reports on system performance, support activities, and key metrics.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior management.

Skills Required (Knowledge and Skills)

• Proficiency in video analytics software and tools
• Strong knowledge of video management systems (VMS) and IP camera technologies.
• Experience with network infrastructure and protocols related to video analytics.
• Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools.
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices for video analytics systems.

Key Attributes (Experience and Qualifications)

·        Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, IT engineering or equivalent qualifications.

·        Overall 3 to 5+ years’ experience with Minimum of 1 year experience in the same domain.

Proven track record in developing and supporting automation applications.
