Education :

B.E./B.Tech/MCA in Computer Science

Experience :

Must have 10+ Years relevant experience in the field of Vmware, Windows and AD

Mandatory Skills/Knowledge

1. Installation and Configuration: Deploy, install, configure, and upgrade VMware software and virtualization platforms based on client requirements.

   a. Experience in installing, configuring, troubleshooting ESXi

   b. Experience on VMware vRA, vROPS, and vRO

   c. Experience in P2V, VMotion and VMware virtual center.

2. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to VMware infrastructure, including virtual machines, ESXi hosts, vCenter servers, and networking components.

3. Should be able to handle critical Incidents and able to perform root cause analysis.

4. Should have experience in handling User service request and Alert management.

5. Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of VMware environments to ensure efficient resource utilization and high availability.

6. Security: Implement security best practices to protect virtualized environments from threats and vulnerabilities.

7. Technical Support: Provide technical support and guidance to clients, addressing their VMware-related concerns and inquiries.

8. Experience in Microsoft Windows Server Administration DC, DNS, DHCP, DFS, WSUS, Group Policy Management etc.

9. Knowledge of basic network concepts e.g., IP, TCP, DNS, switches, routers etc

10. Concepts of load balancers and their function and features

11. Capacity Planning: Assess and plan for future capacity requirements, recommending hardware and software upgrades as needed.

12. Should have knowledge of ITIL Process.
