Product Manager – Job Description



About the role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced product manager to join our team and take ownership of our app product development and growth initiatives. As a product manager, you will be responsible for defining and executing the product roadmap, gathering, and prioritizing requirements, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product delivery.

Experience:

2-6 years of experience

Key Responsibilities:

1: Develop and manage the product roadmap for apps and platforms, taking into account user feedback, market trends, and business goals. This includes setting product vision, strategy, and features, and ensuring alignment with overall company goals.

2: Work closely with the design and engineering teams to ensure product requirements are clear, and that the product is delivered on time and to a high standard. This includes working with UX designers to create wireframes, user flows, and prototypes, and working with developers to prioritize tasks and ensure timely delivery.

3: Conduct user research and analysis to inform product decisions and identify areas for improvement. This includes analyzing user feedback, conducting surveys, and gathering data from user behavior analytics tools to identify user pain points, behaviors, and preferences.

4: Collaborate with marketing, sales, and customer success teams to define and execute strategies for user acquisition, retention, and engagement. This includes working with the marketing team to develop go to-market strategies, working with sales to create sales enablement tools, and working with customer success to develop retention and engagement strategies.

5: Analyze and report on key performance metrics to inform product decisions and measure the success of product initiatives. This includes setting KPIs for the product, analyzing data, and creating reports to share with the team and company leadership.

6: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitors to ensure app remains competitive in the market. This includes attending industry events and conferences, conducting market research, and keeping abreast of the latest developments in technology and user behavior.

7: Create and manage the product backlog, which includes prioritizing features and user stories based on business value and user needs, and continuously updating the backlog as the product evolves.

Requirements:

1: Experience in product management

2: Experience working with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, marketing, and customer success. Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

3: Strong analytical skills and experience using data to inform product decisions. Experience with data analytics tools such as Google Analytics.

4: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate product vision and roadmap to stakeholders at all levels. Ability to write clear and concise product requirements, user stories, and other product documentation.

5: Experience with A/B testing and experimentation is a plus. Ability to design and run experiments to test hypotheses and validate product features.

6: Willingness to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.

7: Good interpersonal and communication skills.
