 Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Senior IT Consultant with extensive experience in Micro Focus Asset Manager, Micro Focus UCMDB, Micro Focus Connect-IT, ServiceNow/Service Manager, SQL database, Python and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing our IT asset management processes, integrating various IT systems, and resolving complex technical issues to ensure the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure.

Technical Requirements

1. Skills required in CMDB, ServiceNow, ITSM tools, strategic, asset management, IT Service Management processes.

2. Perform daily and long-term operational and strategic management of hardware and software

3. Proven experience with Micro Focus Asset Manager, Micro Focus UCMDB, and Micro Focus Connect-IT.

4. Proficiency in SQL database management and querying.

5. Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.

6. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

7. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

8. Experience with ITIL framework and best practices is a plus.

9. Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, ServiceNow) are advantageous.

10. Python experience in developing dashboards is a plus.

11. Experience in working with Product Support and R&D for product related issues.

 Job Accountabilities (duties and responsibilities). Key Responsibilities

• Asset Management: Administer and optimize Micro Focus Asset Manager tool to ensure accurate tracking and management of IT assets throughout their lifecycle. Design, implement, and oversee policies and procedures for the acquisition, deployment, maintenance, and disposal of IT hardware assets. Maintain an accurate inventory of all IT hardware assets, including laptops, VMs, networking equipment, mobile devices, and peripherals, etc.

• Configuration Management: Utilize Micro Focus UCMDB to maintain and manage configuration items (CIs) and their relationships, ensuring data accuracy and consistency. Installation and configuration of UCMDB, UD and CMS UI. Experience in UCMDB Advanced configurations like SSL, SSO, LDAP and HA configurations. Experience in Application Modelling and Automatic Service Modelling (ASM). Enrichment and Impact Analysis creation exposure. UCMDB Upgrade experience from old versions to latest version

• System Integration: Implement and maintain integrations using Micro Focus Connect-IT to streamline workflows and enhance system interoperability.
