Jio has over 400 million customers in India, generating petabytes of data every second, and hence the need to build infinitely scaling, low latency, high throughput and highly available systems.

Responsibilities:

·      Understand the new solutions /new node architecture in the telecom network from security perspective.

·      Perform the security assessment on telecom infrastructure to cover the security aspects like vulnerability management (VAPT), MBSS (Minimum baseline security standards) controls.

·      Analyze the vulnerabilities as per industry classification schemes (CVE, CVSS) in order to appropriately characterize threats and provide the appropriate remediation.

·      Discuss the findings and mitigation procedures with planning team and product vendor for the necessary action.

·      Work closely with different stakeholders to initiate security assessment, publish reports and track it to closure and ensure the fix is rolled out in production.

·      Conducts regular penetration testing on telecom infrastructure and identify security gaps and tracking it to closure.

·      Ensure 100% compliance to periodic assessment of all the Telecom network elements. Publish reports to respective stakeholders and track them to closure within the timelines.

·      Suggest and implement the protection Measures for Telecom Network: prevent any hacking or data leak attacks against Jio from succeeding.

·      Support in the information security audits conducted by external and internal auditors

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech

Work experience: 5-10 Years

·      Work experience in vulnerability management and penetration testing (VAPT).

·      Work experience in system hardening of operating systems (Linux/Windows) as per CIS benchmarks.

·      Knowledge of security tools like Nessus, Qualys, NMAP, Burp suite etc.

·      Knowledge of VMware, Dockers, Kubernetes and cloud.

·      Basic understanding of Telecom network

Competencies /Expertise Required (Functional & Behavioral)

·      Prefer specialization/certification course in cyber security i.e. OSCP, CEH, CISM, ISO 27001 etc.
