Position : Technical Writer 

Location : Mumbai 

Experience : 7-10 Years 

· Get thorough understanding of products and communicate the information in a way that is simple, engaging and understood by target audience. 

· Analyse existing information and suggest innovative approaches for improvement. 

· Take ownership of created content and drive the content development life cycle from planning to publishing and support post-release activities. 

· Do the research on the subject and ask questions to the SMEs. 

·  Test and try the products, as applicable, to learn the pain points of users and develop content to address the same. 

· Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize work based on inputs received from the team. 

Responsibilities 

· Collaborate with Development, QA, Architect, Product Management, and other stakeholders to plan, research, write, and update a variety of documentation, including SOPs, user guides, product overviews, readme, installation/ configuration/ administration manuals, web site content and API documentation. 

· Work independently on documentation projects and meet organization’s standards while publishing content. 

·Follow uniform writing style and suggest inputs on refining the content architecture. 

· Collaborate with peer writers to support documentation of assigned modules as and when required. 

· Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced, changing environment. 

·Experience of working in an agile environment. 

·Experience working with common authoring and publishing tools such as, Confluence, Git and GitHub, HTML, CSS, MS Word and any XML Authoring tool. 

·Experience of working on Cloud-based products/ virtualization (good to have).
