The Seller Central team is building a platform that will empower vendors and sellers within Reliance Retail's ecosystem, facilitating effortless onboarding, streamlined product listing, and efficient order management across diverse business channels such as JioMart, Ajio, Tira, Urban ladder etc. Our goal is to provide a user-friendly interface, robust scalability, seamless integration capabilities, and powerful analytics tools. The team would be working on building, scaling, and customizing the platform for various business needs while meeting the need for constant support and robust security for the platform and its users.  

 

The candidate must have 2-5 years' experience in similar roles with a proven track record of successfully delivering results in a fast-paced environment.  

 


Role 

 

As a Program Manager within our Software Development team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with Business leaders, Engineering leaders and Product Managers to define roadmaps, prioritize features, and drive development strategy. Your contributions will be essential in ensuring that our products not only meet but exceed the expectations of our customers, driving growth and success for the platform.



Responsibilities:


·        Project Management: Lead and manage cross-functional engineering projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery within scope, budget, and quality standards.

·        Estimation and Capacity Planning: Collaborate with engineering teams to estimate project efforts, allocate resources effectively, and plan capacity to meet project requirements and deadlines.

·        Agile Methodologies: Drive agile practices such as sprints and scrum within engineering teams, facilitating effective sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

·        Release Planning: Work closely with product managers, engineering teams, and stakeholders to develop release plans, prioritize features, and coordinate release schedules to ensure smooth and timely product launches.

·        Stakeholder Management: Engage and communicate with stakeholders at all levels, including CXOs, to provide project updates, manage expectations, and address concerns, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

·        Risk Management: Proactively identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and escalate issues as needed to ensure project success and minimize disruptions.



Qualifications:


·        Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field; master's degree preferred.

·        Proven experience (2-5 years) in program or project management roles, preferably within the technology industry.

·        Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience implementing agile practices such as scrum and sprint planning.

·        Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.

·        Solid organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

·        Experience in stakeholder management, including engaging with CXOs and senior leadership.

·        PMP, Scrum Master, or Agile certifications are a plus.
