About The Role

LBS unit of Jio Platforms ltd is looking for a Tech Lead - DevOps Engineer with a passion for working on cutting edge technology, and thrives on the challenge of building something new that will operate at massive scale. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining DevOps related technologies. You will work alongside team of solution architects and software Engineers. Your work will have a high impact on releases of critical applications related to Retail, Payroll etc. You will completely be building and owning the areas of DevOps - CI/CD, Scaling microservices and distributed applications using containers and Kubernetes or related technologies, DB clusters, Centralized logging & monitoring, security. We are looking for a talented DevOps Engineer that will contribute to the success of Jio LBS Unit by partnering with Engineering, TOPS Stakeholders and Management. We are looking for a person who can manage a team of 5 engineers, is committed to teamwork, who enjoys working on cutting edge technology in a fast-paced environment, is customer centric, and thrives on the challenge of building something new.

Experience

. Should have 8-10 years of experience in field of design, create, own, and maintain systems and service deployments in multi-cloud and container architecture ( Azure, GCP, Kubernetes).

Skills and Experience

· Extensive experience with building end to end Azure data integration and migration solutions using Azure services. – Mandatory

· Implemented CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps Git to have continuous integration and delivery. - Mandatory.

· Expertise in syncing code with Azure DevOps repositories using CI-CD pipeline, creating pull requests and releases to different environment stages using release pipeline - Mandatory

· Migration of on-premise applications to Cloud in microservices based architecture

· Experience with Container Orchestration and Azure Services like AKS and EKS.- Mandatory

· Experience on tools like Jenkins, Ansible and other CI/CD tools to implement right continuous integration strategy. – Mandatory.

· Candidates must possess experience in using Linux, Jenkins, and ample experience in configuring and automating the monitoring tools.

· The candidates should also possess experience in the software development process and tools and languages like SaaS, Python, Java, MongoDB, Shell scripting, Python, MySQL, and Git.

· Candidates should demonstrate knowledge in handling distributed data systems. Examples: Elastisearch,

· Good Communication and enthusiastic in learning new tools and Business environment.

· Knowledge of Agile Development Process.

· Excellent analytical abilities complemented with good technical and communication skills

· Expertise in leading developments, enhancements and Support projects

· Expert of ITIL processes to be followed in Support project including Change Management, Problem Management and Incident Management.
