Job Overview

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET-2) to join our technology team in Bangalore. This full-time position demands proficiency in software development and testing, especially in automation practices. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to ensuring the quality of our software applications through rigorous testing methodologies.

Higher Qualification: B.E/ B.Tech

Total Experience: 8years

1) Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or C#. 

2) Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium,

Appium, TestNG) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI). 

Technical & Behavioural Skills: 

1) Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, and performance testing. 

2) Proficiency in scripting languages and test automation frameworks. 

3) Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 

4) Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast - paced, agile development environment. 

5) Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured) and performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus. 

Key Responsibilities 

Test Automation Development: 

1) Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks, test scripts, and test cases for , regression, and performance testing. 

2) Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to provide continuous feedback on product quality. 

3) Collaborate with developers to create and maintain testable software components and interfaces. 

4) Test Planning and Execution: 

5) Analyze product requirements and technical specifications to develop comprehensive test plans and test cases. 

6) Execute automated and manual tests, analyze test results, and report defects and issues to the development team. 

7) Ensure that test environments are properly configured and maintained. 

Collaboration and Communication: 

8) Work closely with product managers, developers, and other QA engineers to ensure that all product features are thoroughly tested and meet quality standards. 

9) Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.
