Revenue Assurance Invoicing & Collections - Mumbai


Summary:

Seeking an experienced Finance Professional in Sr. team member role to handle day to day operations in revenue assurance, invoicing, and collections function within our Cloud business. The ideal candidate will have 6-10 years of qualified experience ensuring accurate and timely revenue recognition, undertaking the invoicing process, collections and ensuring compliance with indirect tax laws and regulations. The role will also be responsible for ensuring that all financial transactions are as per the set company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.


Key Responsibilities:

Plan and perform revenue assurance activities for the Cloud business, ensuring that revenue is recognized in accordance with accounting standards and company policies.

Review contracts and capture critical inputs and highlight clauses that can impact revenue recognition treatment.

Prepare MIS by revenue streams correctly and completely and assist identify potential risks and opportunities

Invoicing:

  • Undertake the invoicing process ensuring that invoices are accurate, timely, and compliant with company policies and indirect tax laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure that invoices are issued and processed in a timely manner.
  • Manage collections and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payment.

Indirect Taxes/GST Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with indirect tax laws and regulations, including GST.
  • To be aware of latest changes and potential impact on existing processes and revenues.
  • To ensure that the company is not losing out on all available tax credits and benefits.
  • Work with internal and external tax advisors and auditors to manage tax audits and provide full support for assessments.
  • Set-up and maintain effective indirect tax processes and controls.

Financial Reporting:

  • Identify KPIs and prepare dashboards to ensure accurate and timely reporting of the various O2C metrics.
  • Prepare periodic, monthly, quarterly, and annual statements and reports for submissions to stakeholders as required.
  • Work with cross-functional teams for data/MIS and analysis.

Qualifications:

  • CA/M.Com./CMA with 6-10 years of experience in finance and accounting roles, preferably in the cloud products industry.
  • Clear understanding of revenue recognition principles and practices, including the ability to analyze contracts and transactions.
  • Operational knowledge of indirect tax laws and regulations, including GST.
  • Good communication skills with operational knowledge of MS office and Billing/Accounting tools.
  • Prefer candidates with previous experience in similar role in IaaS, SaaS, PaaS, IT/Cloud oriented organizations.
  • Exposure to engaging with Pvt./Public enterprises.
  • Candidate keen to learn and grow in dynamic situations.
