Product & Business Leader - File Cloud (Drive) Storage Platform

About the Role:

As a Product & Business Leader for our file storage platform specializing in personal cloud storage, you will be at the forefront of driving the vision, strategy, and execution of our product offerings. You will lead cross-functional teams to ensure our product meets market needs and achieves business goals. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, business acumen, and hands-on leadership to steer our product's success in a competitive market. You should be expert in managing the P&L of the business and should have demonstrated successful revenue achievements in your current/past assignments.

Responsibilities:

1)     Market Research:

• Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
• Analyse market data to inform product development and go-to-market strategies.
• Stay updated on industry developments and emerging technologies in cloud storage.

2)     Product Development:

• Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle from concept to launch.
• Develop detailed product requirements, specifications, and roadmaps.
• Work closely with engineering, design, and QA teams to ensure high-quality product delivery.
• Prioritize features, functionalities, and enhancements based on customer feedback and market demand.

3)     Strategy and Vision:

• Define and communicate a clear product vision and strategy.
• Align product strategies with company goals and customer expectations.
• Identify opportunities for innovation and growth within the cloud storage domain.

4)     Stakeholder Management:

• Work closely with product and Technology teams for shaping the product vision.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and customer support teams to ensure successful product launches and adoption.
• Present product plans, updates, and results to senior management and other stakeholders.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners.

5)     Performance Metrics:

• Set and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success.
• Conduct regular product performance reviews and adjust strategies as needed.
• Use data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement.

Qualification Details:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 20 years of experience in product management, with at least 3 years as a Leader focused on cloud storage or related technologies.
• Proven track record of successfully launching and managing cloud storage products.
• Strong understanding of cloud storage architectures, technologies, and market trends.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams.

Desired Skills & Attributes:

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of data security, compliance, and privacy regulations.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Proficiency in product management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or Aha!
