Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Network Security Engineer to join our team in Guwahati. This is a full-time, mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of relevant experience. The role involves implementing and managing security measures to safeguard Jio’s digital infrastructure, playing a crucial part in maintaining the integrity of our network operations.

Qualifications and Skills

Higher Qualification : B.E/B.Tech

• Proficiency in ELK stack for real-time logging and data analytics (Mandatory skill).
• Expertise in Linux environment to manage security protocols (Mandatory skill).
• Experience with ISO 27001 for establishing and managing security standards (Mandatory skill).
• Previous experience as a SIEM Admin lead with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• In-depth understanding of networking fundamentals to effectively manage and secure network infrastructure.
• Knowledge of vulnerability management practices to proactively identify and mitigate risks.
• Familiarity with VMware technologies to support virtualized network environments.
• Experience with Kubernetes architecture for deploying and scaling containerized applications.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive network security policies based on industry best practices.
• Monitor network traffic to detect and respond to security breaches and violations.
• Utilize ELK stack for advanced logging and analysis to enhance security monitoring capabilities.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 27001 standards and manage related documentation and audits.
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate and enhance security measures across the network.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and implement mitigations to secure network access.
• Provide technical support for network and security issues, ensuring minimal downtime and operational efficiency.
• Continuously update skills and knowledge to stay ahead of emerging cybersecurity threats and solutions.
