Job Summary

The Senior Infrastructure Architect will play a pivotal role in shaping the technology infrastructure strategy and ensuring alignment with business objectives. This role involves extensive collaboration with C-level executives (CXOs) to understand business goals and translate them into robust, scalable, and secure IT infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and exceptional communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement architectural solutions for enterprise infrastructure, including cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.
2. Collaborate with senior leadership to define infrastructure strategies that align with business objectives and technology trends.
3. Assess current infrastructure, identify gaps, and recommend improvements to optimize performance and scalability.
4. Lead and manage infrastructure projects from conception through implementation, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
5. Ensure infrastructure complies with security standards and regulatory requirements. Implement measures to safeguard data and systems.
6. Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
7. Work closely with other IT teams (development, security, operations) to ensure cohesive technology solutions.

Desired Skills

1. Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
2. Deep understanding of networking, storage, virtualization, and server technologies.
3. Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).

Certifications:

Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect) are highly desirable.
