Job Purpose
Act as Lead (Application Administration & Architecture - ECM) for Documentum – REIMS solution. Lead will define system architectures based on Documentum product suites and provide strategy and subject matter expertise for enterprise content management architecture roadmap. Lead is responsible to provide & coordinate for production support to maintain the consistent application performance. The role is also responsible for the team that ensures Documentum - REIMS service provisioning, release and configuration management, technical support and escalation management for all production issues. The role establishes standards, guidelines, documentation requirements and best practices for effective solution management.

- Own and evolve the enterprise information management architecture strategy for REIMS/Documentum. Manage all REIMS architecture changes, sizing servers and content storage.
- Coordinate for Documentum product upgrades, server migrations across data centers, network changes, hardware upgrades for REIMS solution.
- The Lead will also manage the post production support including, but not limited to, investigating and troubleshooting production issues related to core Documentum products, enterprise integrations & interfaces, finding solutions to issues, and coordinating with concerned teams for resolution of issues. The Lead will implement required monitoring processes to maintain consistent system uptime.
- The Lead manage the services provisioning for business users that include creation of new content repositories and configuration of projects for various businesses within set processes and time frames.
- Act as leader/mentor for solution management & proactively involve in team building efforts, including coaching, knowledge sharing sessions, training, and team career development.
- Issue and own relevant documentation for System Admin and architecture vertical
- Interviews candidates for support & development roles and evaluate them for specific roles.
- Provide technical support for analysis of business requirements and liaising with functional teams to assist in the on-going improvement of enterprise content management & business processes management and procedures.
- Efficient utilization of software and hardware resources
- Ensuring consistent and uninterrupted services availability for business users.
- Successful management of necessary initiatives to ensure on-time service delivery regarding new repositories & project provisioning.
- Balancing the available departmental resources for various administration and support activities/projects.
- On time completion of solution enhancement projects such upgrades, deployment of customized components & system integrations.
- SLA based resolution of production issues.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:
Type of roles (and duration) which an individual ideally should have done in his/her prior experience to be detailed
- >15 years of experience in Enterprise Content Management Systems.
- 10-12 years of professional experience directly related to IT operation for production Documentum based ECM
- Advanced Documentum product implementation experience
- Technical and functional understanding and significant work experience with Enterprise Content Management Systems using EMC Documentum and collaboration technologies. This includes Architecture & Content Server, BPM or similar process automation tools
- Extensive knowledge of Documentum design pattern, development APIs, available interfaces & integration methods, development & customization tools / methods.
- Understanding of various operating systems (UNIX/Linux/Windows), databases (SQL Server/Oracle) & storage solutions.
- Well versed with software development life cycle.
- Comprehensive knowledge of hardware, software, application, and systems engineering
- Experience managing large scale technology incidents and supporting root cause analysis.
- Knowledge of Service Level Agreements (SLA) directly or indirectly related to incident resolution.
- Project and program management planning and organizational skills
