Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager in Data Science to join our dynamic team in either Bangalore or Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have 7 to 10 years of relevant work experience in leading data science initiatives. This position will be pivotal in shaping and guiding our data science strategy, leveraging advanced technology and methodologies to drive innovative solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of data scientists and data engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. 
• Define and implement the data science and data engineering strategy, including the development of predictive models, machine learning achalgorithms, and scalable data pipelines. 
• Integrate state-of-the-art AI techniques, such as deep learning, reinforcement learning, and natural language processing, into Shein India's data-driven solutions. 
• Proven track record of leading data science and data engineering teams, with a focus on AI/ML model development and deployment in a fast-paced, data-driven environment. 
• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). 
• Proficiency in AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn. 
• Strong understanding of data engineering best practices, including ETL processes, data modeling, and data pipeline automation. 
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a focus on coaching and development. 
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex business problems into technical AI/ML solutions. 
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. 
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
