Job Overview

Mid-Level DevOps Engineer role with 4 to 6 years of experience at Jio in Navi Mumbai. Full-Time employment with 51-200 employees in the Media & Telecommunications industry.

Qualifications and Skills

·      Solid experience in DevOps practices and tools

·      Expertise in configuring and deploying instances on Cloud environments and On-Premises Datacenters. 

·      Proficiency in Azure, Data Centers, CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes

·      Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

·      Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

·      Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Roles and Responsibilities

·      Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Terraform/Kubernetes/ Jenkins/Github

·      Automate the deployment of applications using container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

·      Collaborate with development teams to identify and implement improvements in the Cl/CD process.

·      Must have Strong knowledge of Kubernetes as container orchestration tool.

·      Must have strong Knowledge on monitoring tools such as ELK stack,promethus,Grafana etc.

·      Must have strong Knowledge on databases SQL/ORACLE,No SQLDB (redis/mongo/cassandra)etc.

·      Must have strong Knowledge on Linux/Unix , Web servers (Nginx/Apache) and middleware.

·      Must have stronge Knowledge on network interfaces (Load balancer/firewall/WAF/SSL/TLS).

·      Must have Strong knowledge of Monolithic and microservice architectures for multiple environments. concurrent development, integration, test, and production environments that include web, mobile and cloud components.

·      Ensure continuous integration and delivery of applications with a focus on speed, reliability, and repeatability.

·      Maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps.

·      Participate in on-call rotation and respond to incidents as needed. Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, applications, and deployments.
