Role: Cybersecurity Architect

Job Role addresses the following activities

Skilled and experienced Application Architect /Lead to spearhead the development and management of application/product portfolio in cybersecurity domain. This position will be responsible for leading a team of developers in designing, building, and maintaining robust security applications and tools. He/She will work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements, define technical solutions, and ensure the successful delivery of innovative, secure, and effective applications.

Job Accountabilities:

·        Experience in software/product architecture and development (Preferably cybersecurity application/products).

·        Previous/current experience with full stack development, Mobile /Web application/API development.

·        Strong knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, technologies, solutions, services, and products.

·        Proven track record of leading and managing products and software development teams in an agile environment.

·        Good knowledge of application design, deployment, and orchestration in containerized environment (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker) and DevSecOps.

·        Proficiency in programming languages such as Python/ .Net/ C/C++/ Java, JavaScript NodeJS, Shell Scripting etc.

·        Sound knowledge of Threat Modelling, Security Architecture, Application Security, API security, Identity & access management

·        Strong understanding of security principles, protocols, and technologies, including encryption, authentication, access control, and secure coding practices.

·        Experience with security assessment tools and techniques, such as static analysis, dynamic analysis, penetration testing, etc.

·        Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.

·        Good knowledge of AI/ML based solution development and integration

·        Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and implement effective solutions.

·        Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Job Accountabilities

·        Lead the architecture, design, development, and implementation of applications / products in the cybersecurity domain.

·        Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of developers and engineers throughout the software development and deployment.

·        Architect scalable and resilient security solutions that meet business needs while adhering to industry best practices.

·        Research, conceptualise and design innovative solutions in cybersecurity domain.

·        Conduct code reviews, security assessments, and performance evaluations to ensure the quality and security of application code.

·        Develop and maintain documentation, including technical specifications, architecture diagrams, and deployment guides.

·        Implement security controls and mechanisms, including authentication, authorization, encryption, and logging, to safeguard against threats and vulnerabilities.

·        Stay informed about emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, solutions and technologies.

·        Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and priorities.

·        Work with businesses to develop secure business requirements, develop the security architecture, and integrate into our longer-term platform strategy.

·        Stay up to date on new tools & techniques in the information security space.

·        Identify opportunities for automation and AI/ML adoption for cybersecurity usecases.

Key Attributes (Experience and Qualifications)

1.     BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech/MCA/MS from a reputed/recognized institute

2.     Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in software architecture/design/development

3.     Minimum 5 years of experience in cyber security domain

4.     Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills

5.     Ownership mind-set and should demonstrate persistence in following up on tasks to be performed by team.

6.     Preferred certification: CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CCIE, GIAC, GSEC Certification
