Job Title: Cloud Pre-Sales Consultant

Location: Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore


Responsibilities:

  1. Client Engagement: Collaborate with the sales team to identify and engage with potential clients, understanding their specific business needs and challenges.
  2. Technical Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations of cloud solutions, tailored to address client requirements.
  3. Solution Design: Work closely with clients to design customized cloud architectures and solutions that align with their business objectives, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
  4. Proposal Development: Assist in the creation of proposals and RFP (Request for Proposal) responses, detailing technical aspects and value propositions of cloud solutions.
  5. Proof of Concept: Lead and coordinate proof of concept (PoC) initiatives by setting up demonstrations or trials of cloud services to showcase capabilities and garner client confidence.
  6. Market Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging cloud technologies to provide informed insights to clients and influence product development.
  7. Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, product management, and other internal teams to communicate client feedback and requirements and ensure delivery aligns with expectations.
  8. Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the sales process and beyond.
  9. Training and Enablement: Provide training and technical knowledge transfer to the sales team regarding cloud solutions, features, and best practices.
  10. Post-Sales Support: Engage with clients following the sale to ensure successful implementation and to identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional services.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience: 8+ years of experience in a pre-sales role, cloud computing, or a related field such as IT consulting or technical sales.
  • Certifications: Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect) are advantageous. Knowledge on Private Cloud and Public Cloud preferably MS Azure is mandatory.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing technologies, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
  • Familiarity with cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their respective offerings.
  • Knowledge of related technologies such as networking, databases, security, and virtualization.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and influence others.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a customer-centric mindset.
