Scope

Responsibilities

·        Key Functions

o   To mobilize and provide all the resources to carry out the jobs with consideration of minimum down time, quality assurance, safety and economy for the smooth running of the plant equipment.

o   To plan and arrange preventive/planned maintenance of equipment during planned shutdown of the plant.

o   Changing equipment status from Auto to Manual during preventive maintenance of equipment is carried out as per the decided frequency and vice versa. Review any variations/abnormalities in equipment performance if any after the maintenance.

o   To review day to day operational activities/difficulties & problems

o   To interact with managers for troubleshooting during power cut/trouble in power supply system.

o   To establish proper report and communication with all levels of employees in the same department and other departments.

o   To develop harmonious industrial relations and create a sense of belongingness in the employees.

o   To establish high standard of discipline and maintain the same.

o   To assist in preparation of budget for the department.

o   To exercise control over the expenditure.

·        Technical

o   Monitoring, operation and controlling of BMS Which consist of -

§ Electrical system ranging from 11 KV, 6.6 KV & 0.433 KV.

§ Emergency Diesel Generator sets ranging from 1500 KVA to 3000 KVA.

§ Main HSD Tank & Diesel Day Tanks

§ Dynamic rotary UPS system (DRUPS) & Static UPS.

§ HT & LT Panels, PCC Panels, Power Distribution panels,

§ Transformers Ranging from 12.5 MVA to 2.5 MVA

§ HT / LT switch gears - 11 KV /6.6 KV VCBs & 0.433 KV ACBs etc.

§ HVAC System - PACs, Water cooled Centrifugal/Screw Chillers, Primary pumps, Secondary Pumps, Cooling water Pumps, Cooling Tower fans, Motorized control valves, Exhaust Fans, Fresh Air Fans, AHUs, etc.

§ Water Leak Detection System,

§ VESDA System,

§ Rodent Repellent System,

§ FM 200 System,

§ Chemical Filters.

§ Lifts – Fright & Passenger

o   Preventive maintenance / calibration of BMS equipment/sensors

o   Cable laying in tray/duct/trench/ground identification & rectification

o   Failure root cause analysis

o   Training of BMS personnel

o   Isolation and restoration of BMS / FAS equipment

o   System Monitoring and corrective action

o   Preparation of MIS reports

Requirements

• Experience in Honeywell BMS System
• Should have executed BMS projects
• Knowledge of alarm co-ordination.
• Knowledge of Graphic Creation.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Soft skills – Interpersonal relationship management, Time Management, etc.
