Back End Architect

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled hands-on Back End Architect with hands-on experience in Java to join our team. As a Back End Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and high-performance back-end systems. You will work closely with our engineering and product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions and drive the evolution of our back-end architecture.

Responsibilities:

•Lead the architecture and design of scalable and reliable back-end systems using Java and related technologies.

•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and develop robust solutions.

•Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.

•Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of back-end systems.

•Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

•Provide technical guidance and mentorship to back-end developers.

•Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and frameworks to improve development processes and enhance system performance.

•Work closely with DevOps and infrastructure teams to design and implement deployment pipelines and monitoring solutions.

•Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in back-end development and recommend adoption as appropriate.

Requirements:

•Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.

•years of experience in back-end development with hands-on experience in Java.

•Proven track record of designing and implementing complex back-end systems.

•Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.

•Experience with web application frameworks such as Spring Boot.

•Proficiency in SQL and database design principles.

•Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.

•Familiarity with cloud platforms such as, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

•Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

•Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

Nice to Have:

•Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra.

•Knowledge of message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.

•Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

•Contributions to open-source projects or a strong online presence (GitHub, Stack Overflow, personal blog, etc.).
