About The Role

As a Mobile app developer, you will design, develop, and maintain Android apps. Apps will be mainly content & commerce based and integrated closely with the core eCommerce platform.

What will you do?

•        Specification, development, and debugging of mobile applications

•        Working closely with back-end development team and UX design team to implement mobile product requirements

•        Creation of reusable libraries and mobile application frameworks. Evaluate and research latest technologies.

•        Advise management with regards to pros and cons of implementation of specific mobile platforms

•        Play an important role in the direction of our mobile products

•        Bring your best-in-class engineering skills to create innovative mobile apps.

Scope of Responsibilities

•        Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform

•        A deep familiarity with Android Application Development with Java/Kotlin, Android SDK, Android Debugger

•        Excellent object-oriented analysis and design skills (OOA/OOD)

•        Experience of working in agile methodology

Some specific Requirements

·       3 to 7.5 years of professional experience building and shipping code in professional consumer/B2C products.

·        Should have good experience on Mobile App development

·        Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies

·        Understanding on user experience and usability aspects

·        Should be strong in Kotlin fundamentals and Coroutines.

·        Should have programming practices like clean code and SOLID principles

·        Familiar with Android Architectures, testing, and Jetpack libraries
