Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Engineer / IT Administrator to join our team. This role is responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of our company's network infrastructure and IT systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in networking technologies, system administration, and troubleshooting methodologies.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage local and wide-area networks (LAN/WAN), including routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
• Configure and maintain network services such as DHCP, DNS, VPN, and VLANs.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network-related issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain servers, operating systems, and software applications.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
• Implement security measures to protect the network and data from unauthorized access or breaches.
• Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures.
• Evaluate and recommend hardware and software solutions to meet the organization's needs.
• Collaborate with other IT staff and departments to ensure smooth operation of IT systems.
• Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
• Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Network Engineer, IT Administrator, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, etc.
• Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Experience with server administration (Windows Server, Linux/Unix) and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)..
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
