Job Title: IT Peripherals Engineer

Job Summary:

As an IT Peripherals Engineer, you will be responsible for the Evaluation, installation, maintenance, and repair of various IT peripherals such as LED monitors, printers, scanners, keyboards, Mouse, Speakers, Head phone, CCTV Camera and other WIFI related devices. You will ensure that all peripherals are functioning correctly and efficiently to support the organization's operations. Additionally, you will provide technical support to end-users, troubleshoot issues, and perform necessary upgrades or replacements as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Install and configure IT peripherals including printers, scanners, monitors, and other devices according to manufacturer specifications and organizational requirements.
• Ensure proper connectivity and integration with existing IT systems and networks.
• Conduct regular maintenance checks on IT peripherals to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to peripherals.
• Provide technical assistance and support to end-users regarding peripheral devices.
• Respond to service requests and helpdesk tickets promptly, addressing issues effectively and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of all peripheral installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Document troubleshooting procedures and solutions for future reference and knowledge sharing.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and industry standards in all IT peripheral-related activities.
• implement quality control measures to guarantee the reliability and durability of peripheral installations and repairs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience as an IT technician or similar role, with a focus on peripherals.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues related to IT peripherals.
• Strong knowledge of peripheral devices, their functionalities, and technical specifications.
• Familiarity with networking principles and protocols for peripheral connectivity.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with end-users and colleagues.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality and accuracy in work.
