Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team at Ironhill India. This is a mid-level, full-time position based in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate should have up to 3 years of experience in accounting and finance.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in TALLY PRIME (Mandatory skill)
• In-depth knowledge of TDS, including latest compliance requirements and regulations
• Strong understanding of GST laws, filing returns, and reconciliation
• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and ensuring timely payments to vendors
• Skilled in handling Accounts Receivable (AR) and ensuring prompt collections
• Proficiency in preparing accurate and compliant Journal Entries
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting cycle, including ensuring the integrity of financial records
• Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards
• Oversee TDS and GST compliance, ensuring accurate filing and timely payments
• Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes, maintaining accurate records
• Prepare, analyze, and reconcile Journal Entries to maintain the general ledger
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and support budgeting processes
• Conduct periodic financial audits and assist with external audits as required
• Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations
