JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Preschool Centre Head

Location: Suncity, Hyderabad

Job Summary:

The Preschool Centre Head will be responsible for the overall management and administration of the preschool, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment for children. This position includes overseeing curriculum implementation, staff management, parent relations, and operational efficiency to ensure high standards of early childhood education and care.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership & Management

Ø Manage day-to-day operations of the preschool and ensure adherence to all policies and regulations.

Ø Lead and supervise teaching and non-teaching staff, ensuring a collaborative and positive work environment.

Ø Foster an inclusive, child-centered culture that supports each child's growth and development.

2. Curriculum Implementation

Ø Oversee and support the implementation of the preschool curriculum, ensuring it aligns with the school’s educational philosophy and standards.

Ø Work with teachers to adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the varying needs and interests of individual students.

3. Parent Engagement

Ø Act as the primary point of contact for parents, addressing concerns, questions, and feedback professionally and promptly.

Ø Organize parent-teacher meetings, orientations, and other activities to strengthen the parent-school relationship.

Ø Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s progress, school events, and important updates.

4. Operational Efficiency

Ø Maintain administrative records, including attendance, staff schedules, and student progress reports.

Ø Ensure the preschool environment is safe, clean, and conducive to learning and exploration.

Ø Coordinate with vendors and service providers for facility maintenance and supplies.

5. Staff Training & Development

Ø Provide training, guidance, and support to teaching staff to enhance their skills and competencies.

Ø Identify areas for improvement and facilitate continuous professional development opportunities for staff members.

6. Enrollment & Marketing Support

Ø Work closely with the marketing team to promote the preschool and drive enrollments.

Ø Conduct school tours and provide information to prospective parents about the preschool's philosophy, programs, and admissions process.

Requirements:

1.     Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.

2.     Experience: Preferably Female with a minimum of 3-5 years experience in early childhood education, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
