The state of healthcare in the United States is broken. Healthcare costs have surpassed $4 trillion, yet outcomes in some disciplines are the worst among industrialized nations. Beginning with maternal care, we at Symita are working on a solution to tackle the healthcare crisis by simultaneously improving outcomes and reducing costs. The pregnancy journey is burdensome for moms and care teams. Current one-size-fits-all solutions do not help moms navigate pregnancy, specifically those in high - risk situations, nor make it easy to communicate with care teams. Over a third of US pregnancies, 2.1M annually, are atypical and require extra actions by moms and care teams. Improving these patient and care team interactions by making communicating frictionless and creating shared care plans could become the standard connection point for stakeholders during pregnancy and then for all episodes of care.

At Symita, we are building a platform that translates the complex healthcare world into a personalized care journey. The platform eases administrative burden for care teams and empowers them by consolidating tools into a single platform. The dual-sided software creates a shared care plan between moms and the care teams, increasing engagement via texting and an AI-powered care coach, enhancing the experience for both parties.

YOUR ROLE

By joining an early startup, you have an opportunity to help build a company from the ground up beyond the duties of your role. As a product manager, you have significant influence in setting the product vision and strategy for the company. You shall have direct ownership of:

- Ideation: Collect, organize and construct conceptual product ideas

- Productization: Transform ideas through user research and industry analysis into well-defined product features

- Prioritization: Manage and prioritize backlog of ideas and features

- Validation: Partner with clinical team for product insight and validation

- Customer Implementation: Develop implementation plan to guide successful customer onboarding of product

- UI/UX: Ensure customer needs are met with the appropriate implementation

- Analytics: Develop and track product metrics for continuous product improvement

YOUR EXPERIENCE

You’re an experienced product manager that knows how to get things done. On top of that, you’ve had experience working in a fast-growing startup, and have successfully brought products to market. Our ideal candidate would also bring the following:

- 5+ years of product management experience in healthcare, including experience in a regulated environment (US or other)

- 5+ years of experience delivering software products in web and/or mobile platforms

- 3+ years of experience working in an agile development environments

- 3+ Experience delivering AI/ML capabilities to market

- Excellent oral and written communication to converse proficiently with US based clients

- Experience in the B2B or B2B2C healthcare technology space, delivering

HIPAA-compliant platforms

- Experience working in women’s health or with OB-GYN practices, understanding of the complexities/daily dynamics of health care settings (specifically in OB-GYN)

- Experience with EHR integrations
