Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in administering and managing AWS environments, as well as a strong understanding of DevOps principles and methodologies.

Responsibilities:

• Deploy and manage AWS infrastructure and services to support our applications and systems while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and SOC2 requirements.
• Work closely with development teams to ensure proper integration of code changes and deployment strategies
• Implement and manage automation tools to streamline the deployment and management of infrastructure and applications (CI/CD).
• Develop and maintain scripts and templates to automate deployment and configuration of infrastructure and applications
• Manage and monitor AWS resources to ensure high availability, scalability, and security while maintaining compliance with HIPAA and SOC2 requirements
• Implement disaster recovery systems for cloud applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure and application deployment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations
• Participate in the development and implementation of DevOps processes and best practices
• Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services and features and provide recommendations for their use

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 2+ years of experience in AWS administration and management
• Strong understanding of compliance requirements like HIPAA, SOC2, HITRUST
• Experience with Node.js development and deployment
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles and methodologies
• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and CloudWatch, Secret Manager, Code Pipeline, Code Build, Code Deploy.
• Experience with automation tools.
• Strong scripting skills with languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and infrastructure concepts
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
