We are seeking a 3.5 to 5 years experienced highly skilled API Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in API testing and experience with various API testing tools and methodologies. While the primary focus is on API testing, having strong manual testing skills is considered a valuable asset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of APIs.
• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data specific to API testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects, and collaborate with the development team to resolve issues.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide testing solutions.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure new API features do not adversely affect existing functionality.
• Continuously improve API testing processes, frameworks, and tools.

Must to Have Skills:

• Proven experience in API testing, including tools such as Postman or similar.
• Strong understanding of RESTful web services.
• Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language.
• Familiarity with API documentation tools (e.g., Swagger, Postman).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Experience with manual testing, including test case creation, execution, and defect tracking.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Good to Have Skills:

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git).
• Knowledge of BDD/TDD methodologies and tools.
• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for API testing
