Responsibilities for ServiceNow Architect
• Design, develop, and maintain integrations with other third-party applications.
• Knowledge and experience of defining application and data architecture roadmaps for significant business / functional scopes
• Provide proof of concept planning and analysis and be able to champion ServiceNow capabilities throughout the organization
• Experience of defining and running architecture governance processes, and of shaping and communicating architectural strategy
• An excellent communicator with the ability to talk on a process level with clients and manage the direction of a distributed development team
• Experience of Scaled Agile Framework methodologies, and a broad knowledge of business practices, processes and tools
• Partner closely with executive stakeholders and their teams around delivering solutions in ServiceNow to key business initiatives
• Familiarity with ServiceNow core application UI and workflow configuration, report development, integration components
• Expert level understanding of client-side and server-side scripting - business rules, script actions, script includes
• Proven ability to drive complex technical solutions which may include both legacy and converging technology use at an enterprise level and business process change through education and partnership with stakeholders
• Designing, engineering and configuring ServiceNow to automate internal Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes
• Understanding of how to optimize the ServiceNow data model and structures, proposing and enforcing coding standards and convention across the development teams
• Designing, implementing and enhancing various application modules in Service-Now including Incident, Problem, Asset and Configuration, Change, SLM, Service Catalog, etc.
• Evaluates new features in the platform with ServiceNow releases and the suitability/applicability in the current environment
• Share best practices and be consultative throughout the technical design of the project
• Participate in process flow analysis and process redesign along with the Project Manager
• A strong background of ServiceNow development
• Experience in the design and implementation of ServiceNow security architecture would be beneficial
• Able to work in Agile teams comprising of a Business Analyst, Program Lead and Clients
• Development for integrations including web services (SOAP/REST), DBC, Mid server
• Responsible for meeting development schedules and ensuring the delivered solution meets the technical specifications and design requirements
• Experience with ServiceNow table structures and data model
• Experience in Jelly development
• Able to work with a high degree of accuracy and have a strong attention to detail
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal team members
• 2+ year experience in ServiceNow architecture(preferred).
Qualifications for ServiceNow Architect
• Expert level understanding of client and server APIs
• Expert level understanding of Java JAR development for the ServiceNow MID Server
• In-depth understanding and hands-on application of Service Management business processes
• Experience integrating with other cloud based and legacy client business and IT platforms.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, hardware engineering, or relevant degree is preferred.
Certifications: Nice to have - Certified implementation specialist (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD or any other)
