Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Manager in Accounts and Finance to join our team in Bengaluru. This is a senior-level, full-time position that requires expertise in record to record, accounts payable and receivable, order to cash, credit reconciliation, bank reconciliation, 3-way matching, 2-way matching, and project management. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to our continued growth and success.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in record to record processes, with a strong understanding of financial reporting and compliance standards.
- Expertise in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in processing invoices and payments.
- In-depth knowledge of the order-to-cash cycle, with the ability to streamline processes and reduce cycle times.
- Solid experience in credit reconciliation, ensuring that all transactions are accurately recorded and discrepancies are addressed promptly.
- Proficiency in bank reconciliation, with the ability to identify and resolve issues promptly.
- Hands-on experience with 3-way and 2-way matching processes, ensuring accurate matching of invoices, purchase orders, and delivery receipts.
- Strong project management skills, with a track record of successfully leading and delivering financial projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoice processing, payment approvals, and collections.
- Conduct regular credit reconciliations, resolving any discrepancies and ensuring accurate financial records.
- Perform bank reconciliations, identifying and addressing any issues or discrepancies.
- Implement and monitor 3-way and 2-way matching processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Lead financial projects, providing guidance and support to team members and ensuring successful project delivery.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, providing insights and recommendations to senior management for decision-making purposes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and systems, driving efficiency and accuracy.
