Job Description: Sales Manager (Experience in Software Product/License Sales)
Position: Sales Manager
Location: Bangalore
Budget: up to 15 LPA
Year of Experience: 2-4 year
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Business Development:
* Identify and target potential clients in the manufacturing industry, building and maintaining
a customer database, and generating leads.
* Collaborate closely with the marketing team to generate campaigns aimed at reaching
potential customers.
* Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
* Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and understand industry trends.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Product Knowledge:
* Maintain in-depth knowledge of IT products, specifically those from Rockwell, Siemens,
Schneider, ABB, and Ignition licenses.
* Provide clients with detailed information about product features, benefits, and how they
meet client needs.
Client Management:
* Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and consultations for clients.
* Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and negotiate contracts.
* Follow up on leads and manage the sales pipeline using CRM software.
Collaboration:
* Work closely with the technical and support teams to ensure seamless implementation and
support of sold products.
* Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional materials and campaigns to
support sales efforts.
Reporting and Analysis:
* Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management.
* Analyze sales data to identify trends, strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for
improvement.
Qualifications:
Education:
* Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
* 2-4 years of experience in IT product sales within the manufacturing industry.
* Proven track record of successful sales of products from Rockwell, Siemens, Schneider,
ABB, and experience with Ignition licences or similar products.
Skills:
* Strong understanding of the manufacturing industry and IT products relevant to it.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
Other Requirements:
* Flexible travel as required for client meetings and industry events.
