Job Description: SAP ABAP Consultant

Position: SAP ABAP Consultant

Experience: 5+ Years

Salary: Up to ₹20 LPA

Location: Pune, India

Key Responsibilities

1. Development & Customization:

• Design, develop, and implement custom ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflows.
• Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of ABAP code.

1. System Integration:

• Develop interfaces between SAP and non-SAP systems using IDOCs, RFCs, BAPIs, and Web Services.
• Work on data migration projects using BDC, LSMW, and other tools.

1. Collaboration:

• Collaborate with functional consultants to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and project success.

1. Support & Maintenance:

• Provide post-implementation support, resolve production issues, and handle change requests.
• Maintain documentation for technical developments and workflows.

1. Quality Assurance:

• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and ensure compliance with coding standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Technical Expertise:
• Strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP (5+ years).
• Proficiency in ABAP Objects, ALV Reporting, SmartForms, SAPScripts, Module Pool Programming, and User Exits.
• Knowledge of Fiori, CDS Views, or HANA-related enhancements is a plus.
• Functional Knowledge:
• Familiarity with SAP modules like SD, MM, FI, or PP and their business processes.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Education

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
