Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled PHP Developer with hands-on experience in OpenCart. The ideal candidate will be

responsible for working on OpenCart customizations, APIs, and ensuring the security and smooth

functioning of the customer application.

Key Responsibilities:

● Develop and maintain OpenCart-based applications with a focus on customization and optimization.

● Handle PHP development tasks as needed, ensuring seamless integration with OpenCart.

● Build and maintain mobile app APIs for integration with the platform.

● Working with API required for the business.

● Implement and maintain payment integrations.

● Ensure the security of the OpenCart application, implementing proactive hack prevention measures.

● Keep PHP versions and libraries up to date, ensuring the platform’s stability and performance.

● Suggest and implement improvements and optimizations to enhance the platform’s overall

functionality.

● Work on changes and enhancements to the application as required.

● Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Opencart & PHP.

● Documentation of all changes and tasks

● Following best practices for security and performance.

● Perform developer testing before delivery of the task.

● Perform feasibility analysis and estimation on any new development request.

● Perform system administration tasks like taking and restoring backups, as well as basic AWS

operations.

● Take ownership and coordinate with the support team to ensure the smooth running of the

application.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

● Proven hands-on experience with OpenCart development and customizations.

● Proficiency in PHP

● Experience in managing payment gateways within OpenCart.

● Familiarity with creating and managing APIs for mobile applications.

● Strong understanding of web security best practices, with the ability to prevent and resolve

security threats.

● Basic knowledge of AWS for hosting and server management of the application.

● Familiarity with system administration, including backups and restores.

● Proactive approach to suggesting improvements and taking ownership of tasks.

● Ability to work on tasks immediately and manage workload efficiently in a remote work

environment.

● Experience with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to complement backend

development
