JOB TITLE: NOC Engineer

JOB PURPOSE: Monitor systems, using diversified tools to monitor performance and capability of computer systems.

QUALIFICATION: Engineering Degree/Diploma (Computers / Electronics)

CERTIFICATIONS: Any IT infrastructure technical certification

EXPERIENCE: Total 2+ years of experience in Monitoring and L1 level knowledge in any IT infrastructure domain.

RESPONSIBILITIES (INCLUDES ALL TASKS):

• Experience and knowledge on the following Monitoring tool.

1. Manage Engine – App and Ops Module with ITSM
2. SolarWinds

• Troubleshoot problems, working to triage or troubleshoot the issues within their defined areas.
• Track issues, tracking and documenting all defects and resolutions in detail through a designated ticketing system.
• Report incidents, escalating complicated issues to management, other IT resources, third parties and/or vendors, as appropriate.
• Knowledge of service architecture, design, resource configuration, and business impact of events and symptoms.
• Good knowledge in monitoring tools, ITSM tools, backup, and DR tools

TECHNICAL SKILLS / COMPETENCIES:

MANDATORY

• Knowledge of service subject matter and business processes
• Knowledge of incident models, diagnostic tools, methods
• Knowledge about ITIL process & Project Management.
• Knowledge on customer service ethos, ability to work well with.

OPTIONAL

SOFT SKILLS:

MANDATORY

• Good communication skills (English) and Analytical skills
• Willingness to work 24/7 support window.
• ITIL certification will be added advantage.
