RESPONSIBILITIES OF TOOL MAKER : (Contact HR - 9606029443)
1. CFT Meeting: Before releasing projects, the project owner must ensure a CFT (Cross-Functional Team) meeting with the project, quality team, and programmers. If source inspection is required, the quality team must be informed. The project owner is also responsible for following up with the marketing team to address CFT queries and find solutions within 2 days.
2. Status of RM & BOP: After receiving the BOM, the project owner must monitor the status of both in-house and procured raw materials (RMs) daily until all materials are available. The project owner should also follow up on Brought-Out Items (BOPs), hardware, and turning items
3. Coordination with Outsourcing Team: The project owner should plan pre-machining activities with suppliers based on the drawings. The outsourcing team must be informed about supplier load leveling and communication. The project owner is responsible for providing due dates for outsourced parts and addressing any necessary clarifications with the suppliers.
4. Project Status Updates: The project owner must update the project status daily in the Google Sheet and keep the customer informed about the project’s progress.
5. In-House Planning: The project owner must create a plan for the in-house team regarding final machining operations (VMC, VTL, WEDM, turning, and 5-axis). They must also communicate the Critical to Quality (CTQ) parameters with the programmer or supervisor.
6. Machining Process: Throughout the machining process, the project owner should ensure that the correct machining strategy is followed and that product quality is maintained. They must verify that all deburring, drilling, tapping, and operation completion requirements are met.
7. Visual Inspection: If any operations are missed, they must be completed before the part is presented for quality inspection. The project owner must update the Google Sheet with the part details.
8. Final Inspection: During final inspection, if any minor reworks are needed, the project owner must address them and ensure that the parts meet acceptable quality standards.
9. Rework & Reject: If parts are rejected during quality inspection, the project owner is responsible for raising a Non-Conformance (NC) report, submitting an 8D report to the QMS department, and reordering the necessary materials within 1 day.
10. Report Sharing: The project owner must ensure that quality reports are shared with the customer and follow up with the quality team to address any feedback or queries until they are resolved.
11. Dispatch Planning: The project owner must ensure that proper packing is arranged for dispatch.
