Job Description:

Position’s Contributions to Work Group: 

• PCB Layout supporting Power Electronics, ECM, Displays and legacy components.

• Utilize Altium tool suite to perform layout work in collaboration with design engineers and PCB Layout team lead.

• Collaborate with component engineer to release components into PCB Library

Reason/motivation for request:

Addition 

Typical task breakdown:

• Weekly team meeting to align on priorities.

• Schematic capture / PCB Layout work assigned to be work, varying in duration based on complexity.

• Responsible for managing projects through releasing (ECAD and MCAD) in engineering design system (EDS)

• Collaboration with design engineers on electrical interfaces and mechanical interfaces

Interaction with team: 

• Team meetings, design collaboration meetings, design reviews. 

Work environment: 

Will support full time remote

Candidate Requirements

• Education & Experience Required: 

• Bachelors with 4-6 years’ experience or Associates with 5-7 

• Demonstrated PCB Design / Layout experience

Technical Skills 

(Required)

• Proficient in Altium Designer/ tool set

• Proficient in PCB layout standards (IPC Standards)

• IPC Designer Certification. CID/CID+

(Desired) 

• Experience with Mentor BoardStation

• Component / ECAD Library Management
