Role & Responsibility 

 

·        Operationalization and execution of various washing contracts in line with the contractual provisions and customers’ demand.

 

·        Preparation and submission of bids after thorough scrutiny and gathering data / information against various tenders floated by the State Gencos & IPPs / any other customer. 

 

·        Monitoring of raw coal lifting, quality of raw coal, dispatch of washed coal as per the customer wise requirement of coal.

 

·        Gathering of data with respect to coal production, coal stock, dispatch of coal by Rail/MGR and / or any other data required at various mines located in Chhattisgarh, Odisha and Maharashtra. 

 

·        Monitoring the quality / quantity of washed coal at the unloading end of various customers viz-a-viz agreed quality/quantity parameters as per the contract.

 

·        Preparation of Customer wise bills, after gathering all relevant data/inputs with respect to quantity/quality parameters of various washing contracts, so as to ensure timely submission of bills and monitoring the penalties and bonuses of the particular contract. 

 

·        Close follow-up and liaison with customers for timely release of payment.

 

·        In addition to coal washing customers, department also identifies the prospective customers for sale/utilization of rejects generated out of coal washing. Follow-up with such customers for timely payment.

 

·        Identification of new customers for coal washing so as to expand our business.

 

·        Co-ordination and liaison with Railways for sanctioning and allotment of rakes in various subsidiaries / sidings as per the requirement of customers from time to time and also in connection with construction and commissioning of new sidings in various command areas of ACBIL.

 

 

·        Liaison with MoC / any other Govt. entity for any representation and seeking access to the latest Govt. policies / circulars.

 

·        Follow-up with CCO on regular basis for getting permission for reject disposal 

 

·        Representing the company for any meeting as convened by the Govt. department in connection with coal washing/transportation.

 

·        Correspondence with various customers and Govt. entities for washing contracts and various policy related issues.

 

·        Preparation of MIS Reports/Presentations on a regular basis for consumption of senior management.
