Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef specializing in European, Indian, and Asian cuisines for a full-time position in Leh. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience, showcasing culinary creativity and leadership skills. This executive-level role is an opportunity to manage a diverse and dynamic culinary team within a luxurious culinary setting.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Culinary creativity with the ability to innovate and present dishes representing European, Indian, and Asian cuisines with modern twists.
  • Strong leadership skills to inspire and guide a team of chefs and kitchen staff towards achieving culinary excellence and teamwork.
  • Expertise in menu planning and development to curate seasonal menus that cater to diverse palates and enhance the dining experience.
  • Proficiency in food cost management to ensure profitability while maintaining quality and high standards in food preparation.
  • Excellent team management capabilities to foster a supportive and efficient working environment in the kitchen.
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene standards to ensure compliance and safe food handling procedures.
  • Strong vendor management skills to source and negotiate quality ingredients and ensure timely delivery of kitchen supplies.
  • Ability to maintain kitchen organization by establishing processes that optimize productivity and minimize waste.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead the culinary team in preparing and presenting high-quality dishes that meet client satisfaction and company standards.
  • Design and innovate diverse menus according to seasonal availability and current culinary trends, while considering dietary requirements.
  • Manage food inventory and costs by utilizing cost control methods while ensuring the consistent quality of ingredients and dishes.
  • Train, mentor, and develop kitchen staff to enhance performance, skill level, and career growth within the culinary field.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment that aligns with all health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with management to meet strategic business goals and boost the restaurant's market presence.
  • Oversee day-to-day culinary operations, including staff scheduling, equipment maintenance, and supply chain coordination.

Participate in dining events and promotions to showcase culinary expertise and elevate brand recognition.
