Job Overview

As a Purchase Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement of raw materials, equipment, and services needed for our pharmaceutical manufacturing operations.

• Graduate/Post Graduate
• Proven experience as a Purchase Manager or in a similar procurement role
• Strong knowledge of procurement principles, processes, and best practices
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
• Proficiency in using procurement software or systems
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical procurement regulations and practices is preferred

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of raw materials, equipment, and services
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers
• Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers, ensuring favorable pricing, quality, and delivery terms
• Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as production, quality control, and finance, to ensure seamless procurement processes
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier information
• Manage inventory levels and optimize inventory turnover
• Stay updated with industry trends and market conditions to make informed purchasing decisions
• Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality and compliance
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
