Title: Deputy General Manager (DGM) - Supply Chain Management

Role Overview: As the Deputy General Manager of Supply Chain Management, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain operations. You will collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and logistics partners to enhance processes, minimize costs, and ensure timely delivery of products/services while maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Planning : Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with company objectives to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  2. Vendor Management : Identify, evaluate, and manage vendor relationships to ensure the best quality, cost, and delivery performance.
  3. Inventory Management : Oversee inventory levels, optimize stock levels, and implement strategies to reduce excess or obsolete inventory.
  4. Logistics and Distribution : Streamline logistics processes, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution, to enhance efficiency and meet customer demands.
  5. Quality Control: Collaborate with quality assurance teams to maintain high standards in product/service quality throughout the supply chain.
  6. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks in the supply chain, ensuring continuity of operations.
  7. Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field;
  • Minimum 12-15 years experience, preferably in pharmaceutical & similar industry, in a senior supply chain management role, demonstrating successful leadership and strategic thinking. Preference shall be given with Pharmaceutical / similar field
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, trends, and performance metrics to drive decision-making.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills for managing vendor relationships and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software/tools and SAP.
