Job Overview: We are looking for a talented and reliable DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. This role is responsible for providing second-line technical support (L2) to our customers for a variety of technology products and services. You will be the primary point of contact for troubleshooting technical issues, documenting incidents, and escalating complex issues to higher-level support teams. You will play a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction and resolving issues efficiently.
Responsibilities:
· Provide excellent second-line technical support to internal and external customers on various technology products and services.
· Respond promptly to incidents and service requests, ensuring timely resolution.
· Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues related to ArgoCD, Kubernetes, IBM Cloud Platform
· Certificate Rotation and API Key Rotation
· Image management on IBM container registry
· Running Kubernetes deployment using ArgoCD, GitOps, understanding on HELM charts
· Running Tekton pipeline for building container images
· Automating RunBook using Ansible/chef
· Work with the IBM Cloud Platform, ensuring the availability, performance, and security of the infrastructure.
· Monitor and maintain Kubernetes clusters on Redhat OCP to ensure optimal performance.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide technical support and expertise.
· Utilize the ServiceNow ticketing tool for incident tracking, resolution, and reporting.
· Debugging and work closely with L3 support teams to escalate and resolve complex issues.
· Collaborate with development teams to address recurring issues and improve system performance.
· Ensure accurate and detailed documentation of incidents and resolutions.
· Continuously improve skills and knowledge through active learning and participation in training programs.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
· 4-6 years of experience in IT support, with a focus on second-line support.
· Strong understanding of Redhat OCP with Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Helm charts IBM Cloud Platform,
· Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and diagnose root causes.
· Familiarity with IBM Cloud Platform.
· Experience with incident management and resolution.
· Proficiency in using the ServiceNow ticketing tool.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
