As an SAP Data Migration Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing the transfer of data from legacy systems into SAP. Your role will involve ensuring data integrity, mapping data accurately, and coordinating with various teams to support a seamless migration process. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Migration Planning: Develop and execute data migration strategies, including defining data mapping, transformation rules, and migration timelines. 
• Data Extraction: Extract data from legacy systems, ensuring completeness and accuracy. 
• Data Transformation: Transform and cleanse data to meet SAP system requirements and ensure it aligns with business processes. 
• Data Loading: Load data into the SAP system using appropriate tools and methods, such as SAP Data Services or LSMW (Legacy System Migration Workbench). 
• Validation and Testing: Perform data validation and reconciliation to confirm data accuracy and consistency in the new SAP environment. Conduct thorough testing to ensure data integrity post-migration. 
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to data migration, including data quality problems or system errors. 
• Documentation: Document the data migration process, including data mapping, transformation rules, and any issues encountered. Prepare reports and provide status updates to stakeholders. 
• Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, SAP consultants, and IT teams to understand data requirements, address concerns, and ensure alignment with business needs. 
• Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users and other stakeholders on data-related aspects of the SAP system 

Qualifications: 

• Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in data migration, with hands-on experience in SAP systems. Experience with SAP ECC, S/4HANA, or other SAP modules is preferred. 
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in data migration tools such as SAP Data Services, LSMW, or other ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools. Knowledge of SQL and data transformation techniques. 
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. 
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with various teams and stakeholders. 
• Project Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards. 

Preferred Skills: 

• Familiarity with SAP business processes and modules  
• Experience with data governance and data quality management.

• Knowledge of scripting languages or automation tools.
