We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and support our growing network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of networking technologies and protocols, and be able to work collaboratively to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of our network systems. The Network Engineer will be responsible for troubleshooting issues, optimizing network performance, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and configure network systems, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices. 
• Plan and execute network expansions and upgrades to meet organizational needs. 
• Develop and maintain network diagrams, documentation, and configuration files. 
• Network Management & Maintenance: 
• Monitor network performance and reliability using various tools and technologies. 
• Perform regular network maintenance, including updates, patches, and configuration changes. 
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues promptly to minimize downtime and disruptions. 
• Security & Compliance: 
• Implement and manage network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPNs. 
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. 
• Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans. 
• Support & Collaboration: 
• Provide technical support and assistance to end-users and other IT staff regarding network-related issues. 
• Collaborate with other IT teams and departments to align network services with organizational goals. 
• Document and communicate network changes, incidents, and resolutions effectively. 
• Optimization & Improvement: 
• Analyze network traffic and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement. 
• Recommend and implement solutions to enhance network efficiency and scalability. 
• Stay updated with emerging networking technologies and trends to continuously improve network infrastructure. 

Qualifications 

Experience: 

• Proven experience as a Network Engineer role, typically 10+ years. 
• Hands-on experience with network equipment (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, etc.) and network management tools. 

Skills: 

• Strong knowledge of networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF). 
• Proficiency in network configuration and troubleshooting for routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs. 
• Familiarity with network monitoring and diagnostic tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds). 
• Experience with network security practices and technologies. 
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. 
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
