As an Application Tuning and Performance Improvement Specialist, you will be responsible for analyzing, optimizing, and improving the performance of our applications and systems. Your role will involve identifying performance bottlenecks, implementing tuning strategies, and collaborating with development and operations teams to ensure optimal application performance.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Continuously monitor and analyze application performance using various tools and metrics to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies. 
• Analyze application logs, metrics, and system behavior to diagnose performance issues and bottlenecks. 
• Implement performance tuning and optimization strategies to enhance the efficiency of applications. 
• Diagnose and resolve performance-related issues in applications and systems. 
• Optimize database queries, application code, and system resources to improve speed and efficiency. 
• Conduct performance testing and benchmarking to validate improvements and ensure that applications perform well under various conditions. 
• Design and execute performance testing and benchmarking to validate improvements and identify areas needing further optimization. 
• Collaborate with development teams to address performance issues and apply code-level optimizations. 
• Recommend and implement changes to application architecture and infrastructure to enhance performance. 
• Work closely with developers, system administrators, and other stakeholders to understand application requirements and performance goals. 
• Provide technical guidance and support to teams on performance-related issues and improvements. 
• Generate and present performance reports to stakeholders, including detailed analysis and recommendations. 

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 
• Must have 4 –7 years of experience in application performance tuning and optimization, with a strong track record of successful improvements. 
• Hands-on experience with performance monitoring tools (e.g., New Relic, Dynatrace, AppDynamics). 
• Proficiency in analyzing and optimizing application code, database queries, and system configurations.
