Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Senior Accounts Payable with over 5 years of experience to oversee and manage the accounts' payable function. This role involves handling complex invoice processing, ensuring timely payments, resolving vendor issues, and supporting month-end closing activities. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and the ability to streamline AP processes.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee end-to-end accounts payable processes, including verifying, coding, and processing invoices
• Ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors, managing approvals and payment schedules
• Reconcile statements, research discrepancies, and resolve issues with vendors and internal departments
• Manage AP aging reports, monitor payment terms, and maintain positive vendor relationships
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes and prepare related reports for management
• Assist in developing and implementing AP policies, procedures, and process improvements
• Mentor and guide junior AP team members as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred
• 5+ years of hands-on accounts payable experience, with a strong understanding of accounting principles
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and MS Excel
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a high-volume environment
• Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements related to AP
