Mid-Level: 4 to 6 years of experience Software Testing Engineer position in Infinitalent Consulting (P) Ltd, Bangalore. Full-Time employment type.

Qualifications and Skills

• 4 to 6 years of experience in software testing
• Knowledge of .net, PLC Programming, Troubleshooting, Hardware Diagnostics, and patches installation
• Strong understanding of Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and PC hardware
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Roles and Responsibilities

• Perform software testing activities including test planning, test case development, execution, and reporting
• Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve software defects
• Conduct regression testing and ensure software quality meets standards
• Document test results and communicate findings to stakeholders
• Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate best practices in software testing
• Good knowledge on networks.
• SW/Electronics/Firmware/IT background.
• Good knowledge on PC hardware, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
• Troubleshooting in general, like ability to read logs, identify problems, perform a triage (understanding if an issue lands in PLC, Press Software, Print Electronics…).
• Will need to have good understanding of the whole Software/Print electronis workflow.
• Soft skills & language would be important as you said.
• Skills to document issues and structured person to follow the processes.
• Proactive person, that can be independent.
• Software (Press SW and/or OS) upgrades, downgrades or patches installation.
• Experience working or programming PLCs.
• PLC upgrades/downgrades
• Experience on working with Releases composed of very different software packages and management of that compatibility.
• Programming would not be probably the main task, but it would be a plus some experience in .Net.
